Sharon Seivert
Sharon Seivert is President of The Coreporation, Inc (TCI) where she and her colleagues bring cutting-edge, proprietary methodologies into strategic consulting, leader development, teambuilding, executive coaching, and training of trainer programs. Her clients range from corporations in diverse industries (financial services, high tech, bio-tech/pharmaceutical, retail, professional service firms, manufacturing) to organizations in the non-profit sector (federal and state governments, healthcare, service organizations, high schools, colleges and universities), to family businesses and entrepreneurial start-ups. Previously Sharon was the Incorporator and CEO of a Group Health Plan, Vice President of a think-tank, Director of a regional health center, and advisor to political campaigns.
Sharon is author of The Balancing Act: Mastering the 5 Elements of Success in Life, Relationships and Work(2001), Working from Your Core: Personal and Corporate Wisdom in a World of Change (1998) and co-author of Knowledge Leadership: The Art and Science of the Knowledge-based Organization (2005), Magic at Work(1995). She is currently writing a new book, Leading into the Balance (2010).
In addition to these books, Sharon has written numerous web-based assessments and reports based on The Balancing Act (Personal Balance Profile, Leadership Balance Profile, Team Balance Profile, and Organizational Balance Profile) plus application-tailored developmental guidebooks which are available through TCI and its licensed partners in the North America and Europe.
Sharon Seivert also serves as President Board Member of TCI’s non-profit affiliate Core Learning Services, Inc. (CLSI) for which she designed The Compass Course, an innovative life skills and career preparedness course which received a W. K. Kellogg Foundation award. She has worked directly with hundreds of urban students and trained scores of teachers how to use The Balancing Act process to close the achievement gap and increase the likelihood of life/work success.
